Public Notice is hereby given to the electors of School District No. 8 (Kootenay Lake) (SD8) that nominations for the following offices of school trustee will be received by the chief election officer or designate.
Schools are not in session from June 25 through September 7 while students enjoy their well-earned summer break. The first day of the 2026-2027 school year is Tuesday, September 8.
ELEV8-DESK is SD8's online learning school and it operates year-round and is open for continuous registration.
