The Aboriginal Education department in SD8 – Kootenay Lake has purchased two Giant Floor Maps as supplemental resources for the Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada.

Ms. Marrandino's Senior shop students built a custom 4'x16' shed to house the schools gardening supplies. The shed includes double doors and a shingle roof.

In English 12, our learners have been exploring different aspects of collective identity. We have looked at how cultural stories and having shared experiences create this aspect of identity.
